Biography

Ongom is a senior Grdauate Fellow in the Department of Animal Production and Management at the Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Sciences .He is a dedicated professional with a  background spanning veterinary medicine, public administration, and management.He holds a Master's degree in Veterinary Preventive Medicine from Makerere University and he is currently pursuing of a Postgraduate Diploma in Management and Teaching Higher Education from the Islamic University in Uganda, Ongom has expertise in various sectors. His research contributions evolve around understanding and mitigating livestock diseases such as Lumpy Skin Disease. With  experience in both academic and practical settings, Ongom brings a wealth of knowledge in agricultural risk management, livestock food security, and community engagement in the Animal Production and Management Depratment
