At Busitema University's Faculty of Health Sciences, the campus librarian is Ms. Glorias Asiimwe. She established the Health Sciences Library at the Mbale Campus and has participated in a variety of library activities including securing donations and grants, in form of databases (UPTODATE), books, and equipment (Kindles), participating in strategic planning and library departmental meetings, supervising, mentoring, and managing library assistants and interns, taking part in the library collection development and processing of information materials including conducting research. Glorias has spent more than 10 years working in medical, academic, and incarceration libraries. Information retrieval, administration of research data, and information literacy are some of her areas of interest in research.
