My current research project
Title: Care and Support after a miscarriage in Eastern Uganda: a grounded theory exploration.
Aim and progress
This is a research I m carrying out as part of my PhD study. The aim is to understand the social processes surrounding care and support after a miscarriage in Eastern Uganda from the perspectives of women, partners, family members, health workers, and other potential participants, and to develop a theory grounded in data that could inform future research and practice of the care and support for women and families after experiencing miscarriage. I am currently collecting data and doing concurrent data analysis.
Other research projects
I do mentor my students to carry out individual and group research projects. Some of these projects are on going, and others have been submitted for possible publication to peer review journals.
