Assoc Prof. Gilbert Gilibrays Ocen is dedicated & self-committed to success and juggling multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment, has the ability to work with little supervision, Strong problem-solver who can design solutions & assists developers with issues, and is a Motivated achiever with over 13 years of progressive experience in information-technology and Engineering focusing on cyber security and digital forensics, ICT4D, information systems development. Gilbert holds a Ph.D. in information technology (Cyber-security and digital forensics), a Master of Science in information technology, and a first-class Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering from Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics-Ukraine. Gilbert is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics. He also doubles as Ag. Director of ICTs at Busitema University. Gilbert has supervised over 30 undergraduate research projects, 6 Masters to completion. He has been a team leader in the development of PhD in Cyber-physical systems, MSc in Cyber-physical systems Engineering, Master in Computer Forensics, a Diploma in Computer Engineering, Diploma in Industrial Electronics and Electrical Engineering. Besides teaching, he has worked as the web administrator of the University, and E-learning coordinator of the University. Prior to joining Busitema University he taught at various institutions in Uganda, worked as a System administrator at the Kharkiv Institute of Modern Technologies-Ukraine for over five years, and developed information systems, Designed and managed computer networks for various organizations. Over the years Gilbert has developed deep research interests in the areas of cyber-security and digital forensics, IoTs, industry 4.0, Robotics and ICT4D
