Byaruhanga Moses

Mr. Moses is Employed as Assistant Information Technology Officer(Web Systems). He is a computer science graduate from Busitema University, and as such, he has experience in web programming with java, html, C#, PHP, JavaScript, and the bootstrap framework for front end design. 4 years of expertise in server management and hosting services, as well as sql and postgresql database management with apache web server and ngnix. He is well-versed in desktop application development as well as mobile application development using Android Studio. With this, he has worked on a number of initiatives, including building a SACCO management system that is used by three companies in Kampala, including KIPTCOS (Kampala Iris Potato Traders Cooperation Sacco). Prior to his current appointment, Moses worked  as a graduate fellow with the University Library where he was  at the forefront of ensuring the digitalization and automation of Busitema University systems and processes, and he was also  a member of teams that developed various websites at the University; for example, Moses actively participated in the development of the Library website, the staff directory site, the Research guides site, and the full text database that is integrated into the Library management system (Koha). Moses has also been behind the development of Busitema University website . Moses has a strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team. He is now pursuing an Msc. in Computer Forensics at Busitema University's Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
