Kiyimba Kenedy is a pharmacologist and lecturer at Busitema University's Faculty of Health Sciences, Pharmacology and Therapeutics Department. He earned a Bachelor of Biomedical Laboratory Technology (BBLT) from Makerere University Uganda, and he excelled with a second degree Upper honors. He was then merited at Kampala International University for a scholarship to pursue a Master's of Science in Pharmacology, which he successfully completed, and the University retained him as an assistant lecturer, from which he has since risen following his active participation in research activities and supervision of both undergraduate and diploma students in research to become a Pharmacology lecturer. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Molecular Pharmacology at the University of Nairobi.He is driven to advance in scientific research, and as a developing pharmacologist,he is driven to do research on antimicrobial drug resistance, drug discovery from natural sources, and the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases. Kiyimba is currently a member of the Busitema University Natural Products and Drug Research Group (BUNaPReG), which is situated at Busitema University's Faculty of Health and Health Sciences.
