Biography

Mr. Joseph Oposhia is an experienced field epidemiologist with over six years of expertise in strengthening emergency health systems and outbreak preparedness. He has led multi-district initiatives that improved response times and coordination among health teams. Currently an Honorary Lecturer at Busitema University and an epidemiologist with Africa CDC, he combines academic, research, and field practice. His work spans disease surveillance, outbreak investigation, and public health training. 

Joseph holds Masters degrees in epidemiology and public health and has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications. He is also exploring machine learning applications to enhance disease outbreak prediction and improve community health outcomes.
