Dr. Dedan Okello Daniel is a medical professional specializing in paediatrics and child health, with strong interests in clinical research, good clinical practice, and health systems management. He holds a Master of Medicine in Paediatrics and Child Health of Busitema University, bachelor of medicine and Bachelor of surgery of Busitema University, and Bachelor of health services management of Islamic University in Uganda.
He currently Serves as a teaching Assistant Busitema University - Department of Paediatrics and Child Health. He also has served as a Senior House Officer,a Medical Officer at Jinja Regional Referral Hospital under the RBF and Medical Officer intern at Mubende Regional Referral Hospital. His career is complemented by significant involvement in clinical research, including participation in international trials, community-based health programs, and published work on child health outcomes. A committed leader, he has held multiple academic and professional leadership roles, including representation within the Uganda Medical Association and university governance structures. Passionate about advancing paediatric care, he aims to specialize further in paediatric haematology and oncology, while continuing to contribute to research, teaching, and community health initiatives.
