Mr. Emmanuel Onoria is a Graduate Fellow at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Busitema University. He holdsa Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education of Makerere University, a Bachelor of Biomedical Laboratory Technology of Makerere University, and a Diploma in Secondary Education of Kyambogo University. Since 2013, he has been actively involved in teaching, alongside professional practice in medical laboratory work since 2018. His professional interests include medical education, clinical biochemistry, environmental toxicology, and diagnostic molecular biology. Emmanuel has conducted research on organic pesticide alternatives using Carica papaya extracts, the use of smartphones as learning tools in allied health education, and teachers’ perceptions of competence-based approaches in rural Eastern Uganda. He is a registered secondary teacher, a TVET health trainer, and a licensed medical laboratory technologist under the Allied Health Professionals Council.
