Biography

Mr.Emma Wamono is an environmental scientist specializing in biodiversity conservation, environmental management, and geographical studies. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Biodiversity Conservation and Management at Busitema University, focusing on ecosystem health and restoration of the River Manafwa catchment in Eastern Uganda. He holds a master’s degree in Geographical Environment and Pollution Control of Zhejiang Normal University under the Chinese Government Scholarship scheme and a bachelor of Education (Geography and Computer Studies) of Busitema University.

Mr.Wamono has experience in teaching geography, climatology, environmental impact assessment, and related courses at university level. His research interests include water quality assessment, pollution control, ecosystem restoration, and environmental conservation. He has published scholarly articles and actively participates in community outreach, environmental awareness, mentorship, and sustainable development initiatives.
