Rwahwire is currently the Director of the Directorate of Graduate Studies, Research and Innovations at Busitema University. He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from Technical University of Liberec, and a Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Czech Technical University. Samson has a vast expreince in academia and research having taught at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology for over 9 years before bacoming the Director of the Directorate of Graduate Studies, Research and Innovation. Samson has a number of publications in form of Journal manuscripts, book chapters, Text books and Theses. On the adminstrative side, apart from being a Director of the Directorate of Graduate studies, Samson is a Board member of Uganda Airlines and he is the Managing Director of TEM Analytical Ltd., an Enginnering coonsultancy firm. With in Busitema University, Samson has also served in a number of adminstrative positions that is to say; from 2010-2014, he was the acting Head Of Department of Textile & Ginning Engineering, from November 2010 to March, 2011, he was the acting Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Technology among others
