Dr Tendo attended Makerere University for both her Masters and PhD in Language Education. She also has numerous certificates from South Africa where she attended a number of short courses. One of her passions is to improve the quality of the Language teacher through training them in innovative ways of teaching language using technology and nature. A merging of science, technology and language with the aim of improving the reading culture among Uganda's youthful population. This has led her to publish novels online on Amazon where the current generation spends most of their time. Her aim is to avail quality, educative, entertaining and engaging material for the learners in diverse fields of interest. Her dream is to see a generation that reads and communicates proficiently in a variety of international languages. She has a soft spot for the distance learner, and continually seeks solutions to the hindrances they encounter in their pursuit for education. She has conducted various research on innovative ways of conducting distance education.
