Dr. Tendo attended Makerere University for both her Masters and PhD in Language Education. She also has numerous certificates from South Africa, where she attended a number of short courses. One of her passions is to improve the quality of language teachers by training them in innovative ways of teaching language using technology and nature. A merging of science, technology, and language with the aim of improving the reading culture among Uganda's youthful population. This has led her to publish novels online on Amazon, where the current generation spends most of their time. Her aim is to avail quality, educative, entertaining, and engaging material for learners in diverse fields of interest. Her dream is to see a generation that reads and communicates proficiently in a variety of international languages. She has a soft spot for the distance learner and continually seeks solutions to the hindrances they encounter in their pursuit of education. She has conducted various research on innovative ways of conducting distance education.
She has a desire to make reading materials accessible to all and seeks partners willing to produce literacy and numeracy books for disadvantaged communities where textbooks are missing.
