Biography

In the Department of Animal Production and Management at the Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Sciences, Getrude works as a Teaching Assistant Lacturer. Following his graduation from Busitema University with a degree in animal production and management, Getrude continued on to earn a Master's degree in animal sciences from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. Getrude has worked with several community-based farms over the past seven years, giving him extensive experience in animal production and management.

  • Identification and characterisation of a non-muscular myostatin in the Nile tilap-ia (Segev-Hadar et.al., 2020).
