Ms. Akurut Immaculate is a lecturer at the faculty of Agriculture and animal science, Busitema University.She holds a Master of Science Degree in Food science and Technology and a Bachelor of Animal production Technology and Management from Makerere University, Kampala. She is currently a Ph.D. Student in Food technology at Kyambogo university. Ms. Akurut is the Acting Head of Animal Production and Management Department at the Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Science, Busitema University. Ms.Akrut has over 10 years exprience in Academia from being a Teaching assitant between 2010 and 2016 to becoming a parmanet Lecturer since 2016 to date. She is an enthusiastic, self-motivated achiever who is dedicated to knowledge and skill acquisition and the subsequent passing on of such skills to the students and communities at large. Ms. Akurut is a good relationship builder and can work harmoniously with a range of personalities. She is also keen in identifying opportunities, conceiving ideas and implementing them with minimal supervision, maximally utilizing the available resources to accomplish such tasks.
