Biography

James holds a Master of Statistics from Makerere University in Uganda, with bias in Biostatistics, Ecological Statistics, Data analysis and modeling. James also holds a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Education from Kyambogo University in Uganda (First class). He has worked as a Lecturer for a number of courses at University level including; Applied statistics, Biostatistics-Survival analysis, Data analysis and modeling, Design and analysis of experiments, Calculus, Mathematical concepts, Introductory statistics, Inferential statistics, Probability theory, Decision theory, Econometrics, Quantitative methods, Intermediate microeconomics, Agriculture and environment, and Production economics. Besides, he has vast knowledge in Applied statistics, Quantitative research methodologies (Data modeling), use of statistical packages (STATA, SPSS, Excel, Basic R), Pure and applied mathematics. Such academic background and professional experience have helped him develop better skills in teaching and training data analysis and modeling.

Research Projects

2018 to date: Statistical analysis of the factors affecting the population dynamics and community structure of rodents in a  
forest reserve.

2012 to 2015: Applied Survival analysis: Predictors of the recovery time of anaemic children under 5 years.
