Currently, Ms. Harriet Nabirye is serving as the Principal Institutional Advancement Officer, Internationalization and Partnership, at Busitema University, a position she has held since May 2023. Before being appointed a Principal Institutional Advancement Officer, she served as Assistant Director, Internationalization and Partnership, where she served for one year (March 2022 – April 2023). She coordinates staff and students exchange programmes, supports the establishment and implementation of collaborations/partnerships, and coordinates international students’ activities and welfare, among others. Harriet demonstrates exceptional leadership and managerial skills. She is a seasoned Administrator with extensive experience in administration and financial management.
Harriet holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Makerere University, and a Master of Arts in Public Administration and Management from Makerere University. Her academic journey reflects her dedication to excellence. Prior to joining Busitema University, Harriet worked at Makerere University, Finance Department, for over 10 years. She is highly regarded for her ability to foster strong relationships and team building/spirit to achieve the intended objectives.
