Mr. Wanyama Joseph Erogo is the current Deputy Dean of Students of Busitema University. Prior to this appointment, Joseph worked with Different institutions of learning gaining outstanding and distinguished experience in student affairs' management especially in governance, student leadership, welfare administration, career guidance and discipline right from secondary schools, childrens' foster homes to the institutions of higher learning. Over time, he has risen in ranks from being a class room teacher, Warden, Headteacher to being the current Deputy Dean of Students for over 13 years now. His major role is to work hand in hand with the Dean of Students in ensuring that the students' welfare is properly managed. Joseph holds a Masters of Management studies from Uganda Management Insititute, a Post graduate diploma in Special needs Education from Kyambogo University, a Honors group diploma from The British College of Professional Management and a Bachelor of Science degree with Education from Makerere University. Besides, he has also attained various trainings in areas of Management both locally and Internationally. For over 29 years now, Joseph has gained considerable experience and knowledge in areas of; Students’ Welfare Programme design and implementation, Evaluation of students’ welfare systems in higher education, Formulation of welfare Policies in higher education, Students’ Welfare Programme design and implementation, and Strategic governance in post primary institutions among others
